Cookies

Peldia uses one single cookie and it is a technical one. That is why you will not see a banner asking you to accept anything.

This is a translation of the Spanish version, which is the binding one. If the two ever disagree, the Spanish text applies.

We do count visits, but not people

To know whether anyone reaches this site, we add one to a counter per day, per page and per site you came from. Nothing else.

Cookies for this?No
Is your IP stored?No
Your browser or device?No
Does it go to any outside company? No

Since we store nothing that points back to you, we cannot tell whether ten visits are ten people or you ten times. That is fine by us: what we want to know is whether this site is any use to anyone, not who you are.

If you keep Peldia on your phone

Peldia can be kept on your home screen like any other app. That leaves two things on your phone: a small program the browser needs in order to open it with no address bar, and one date so we do not offer it again every time you come in.

Does it store your pages? No, none of them
Does it know who you are?No
Does it leave your browser? No, except the notices
The date lasts90 days

The date is literally that: the day you said “not now” or kept it, so we do not ask you again for three months. No name, no email, nothing that points to you, and it travels nowhere.

If you also turn on notices on your phone (from My account, and only if you have an account), we keep on our server the address Apple or Google give that device so we can send it the notice, plus two keys each notice is encrypted with: neither they nor anyone along the way can read it. It carries no name; it hangs off your account, and it is deleted when you tap “Turn it off”, remove the icon, or the device stops existing for them.

All of it goes away by clearing this site's data in your browser, or by removing the icon from your home screen.

What there is not

Third-party analyticsNo
AdvertisingNo
Social networksNo
Third-party cookiesNone

The pages load no fonts, no scripts and no images from other domains, so there is nothing external that could set a cookie or follow you. It is also the reason the site is fast.

If you would rather block it

You can delete or block cookies from your browser. If you block Peldia's, the public pages (standings, schedules, profiles, the americano and league generators) still look exactly the same; the only thing that will stop working is signing in to your account.
