Who runs this site
What this service is
Peldia is a tool for creating and following amateur sports competitions. Creating competitions, signing up and following results is free. Peldia ERP, the part for running a club, has a price: $22 a month, and it is free for now. Peldia is a Spanish business, so any invoice is issued in euros at the exchange rate of the day. See pricing.
Peldia does not organize competitions and does not take part in them. Each competition is created by its own organizer, who is solely responsible for its content, its rules, the results that get published and the people they enter.
Using the service
By using Peldia you undertake not to publish names, results or content that are false, offensive or in breach of third-party rights, and not to enter people into public competitions without their knowledge.
Any content may be taken down and any competition or account closed if it breaches the above, without prior notice where the breach is plain.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of being free of errors. Reasonable care is taken to keep it running and to preserve the data, but indefinite retention of published information is not guaranteed: organizers are advised to keep their own copy of anything that matters to them.
No liability is accepted for damages arising from use of the service, nor for the accuracy of the data entered by users (names, results, dates), which is not verified.
Intellectual property
The code, the design and the texts of this site belong to its owner. The names, results and data of each competition belong to whoever publishes them. Linking to any public Peldia page is allowed and needs no permission.
Governing law
Spanish law applies. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law, without prejudice to the forum protecting consumers.
