How it works
Leagues, americanos, brackets, groups, ladders and king of the court. Free, nothing to install and nobody has to create an account.
An English club with invented players, and every screen says so.
Screen 1
The sport and the format.
Screen 2
Nobody needs to exist in Peldia beforehand.
Screen 3
The schedule is generated and can be adjusted afterwards.
Peldia works out the schedule: there are no twenty settings to configure before you see anything.
Whoever opens the link types their name and they are in.
If an account is ever needed, an email is enough: a six-digit code arrives. There are no passwords.
Whoever organizes shares a link, usually on WhatsApp. Whoever opens it types their name and they are in. No account is needed before signing up, and that is not a detail: a registration wall in front of Saturday's tournament loses you half the players.
An account comes later, and only if it is needed: you give an email and a six-digit code arrives that you type on the same screen, or a link if you are on a computer. There are no passwords to remember or to lose.
Whichever competition it belongs to. No menus in between.
Large buttons, and the table recalculates itself.
Standings, results and player pages are public.
The day before, and if it is postponed. All off at once.
The day before your match, and if the club postpones it, the moment they do: nobody should turn up at a court for a match that is not being played. Also when a challenge deadline is running out. And if you are here to watch, there is a button on any player page and on any competition to be told what happens there. They reach you by email and, if you save Peldia to your phone home screen, as a notification too. You turn them all off at once, from your account or from the link every email carries.
Who they beat, which partner they play above expectation with and whether those wins came against weak pairs.
And no inflated numbers: three wins in a row out of six matches is still noise, and the page says so.
This is what a paper draw sheet cannot give you. Every player has a page with a record that crosses competitions and seasons: who they beat, who beats them and, in doubles sports, which partner they play above expectation with. Not just “with Ana 12-3”, but whether those twelve wins came against weak pairs.
And it is honest about the numbers: a three-win streak out of six matches is noise, and Peldia says so instead of painting a 100 % that means nothing.
If there are ever any, only on pages you read. Never where you organize, sign up or enter a score.
For the club there is also a dashboard, Peldia ERP, with its price published on pricing.
An example club with six months of history. Click any name in a table and you get that player's record and how they have improved month by month.
